Yard Wise Lens Privacy Policy
1 Who We Are and the Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how ZHIZIYUANSHUI, located at Room 526, 5th Floor, Building 1, No. 17 Xijing Road, Shijingshan District, Beijing, China ("we", "us", or "our"), handles information in connection with the Yard Wise Lens iOS application. Our privacy contact is zhiziyunketang@163.com.
This Policy covers the current version of Yard Wise Lens and support communications you send to us. Yard Wise Lens does not require an account. Photograph analysis is performed on your device by an automated algorithm and does not use an external or cloud analysis service.
2 Summary of Our Data Practices
Yard Wise Lens is designed so the photograph selected for analysis remains on your device. We do not receive or store that photograph, analysis data, report content, voice notes, or location context through the app. We do not use advertising or tracking technologies, sell personal information, or share personal information for targeted advertising.
Information leaves your device only when you deliberately send a support message or choose an Apple or third-party destination to save, print, or share a PDF report. Those actions and their recipients are described below.
3 Photographs Analysis Results and Reports
When you take a photograph or select one from your photo library, Yard Wise Lens processes the image on your device to produce an informational analysis. The analysis copy is deleted immediately after processing is complete. We do not upload the photograph or analysis output to our servers or to a third-party analysis provider.
The app may temporarily hold the selected image and intermediate data in device memory while it performs the requested analysis and builds the PDF. The resulting analysis and PDF remain under your control on the device unless you save or share them. A source image already in your photo library remains there until you delete it using iOS controls.
4 Permissions and Information Processed on Your Device
Yard Wise Lens requests a permission only when needed for a related function. You can deny or later withdraw a permission in iOS Settings. Information processed under the permissions below remains on your device unless you choose to export or share it.
- Camera: to capture a yard photograph that you choose to analyze.
- Photo Library Read Access: to let you select an existing photograph for analysis.
- Photo Library Add Access: to save a rendered image from a report when you choose that option.
- Location: to include location context in a report when you choose that function. Yard Wise Lens does not use location for tracking or advertising.
- Microphone: to capture an optional voice note or dictation only when you initiate that function. Yard Wise Lens does not listen in the background.
- Notifications: to provide local report-status or reminder notifications. Yard Wise Lens does not send a device push token to our server for these local notifications.
Yard Wise Lens does not access contacts, calendars, Apple Health or HealthKit data, Bluetooth data, or motion and fitness data. The iOS file picker, print panel, and share sheet allow you to choose a file location, printer, recipient, or destination without giving Yard Wise Lens unrestricted access to those services.
5 No Account Analytics Advertising or Tracking
Yard Wise Lens does not require registration or sign-in and does not create a server-side user profile. The current version does not use third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash-reporting software development kits. We do not collect IP addresses, device or installation identifiers, advertising identifiers, app-use events, or diagnostic reports through the app.
Yard Wise Lens does not display advertising, track you across apps or websites, sell personal information, share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or disclose personal information to data brokers. The current version does not offer in-app purchases, subscriptions, or paid reports and therefore does not receive purchase history or payment information.
6 Saving Printing and Sharing You Choose
When you choose to save, print, or share a PDF report, the report and any photograph, location context, note, or other information included in it are sent to the Apple feature or destination you select. Yard Wise Lens does not automatically publish reports or select a recipient for you.
Apple, an email provider, a printer service, cloud-storage provider, messaging app, or another recipient may process and retain the copy under its own privacy policy. Review the report and destination before sharing. We do not control or remotely delete copies held by a destination you select.
7 Support Communications
If you contact us at zhiziyunketang@163.com, we receive the email address or contact information you use, your message, and any attachment you choose to send. We use this information to respond to and resolve your request, protect the support channel, and maintain a record of the resolution. Do not send photographs, reports, precise location, voice recordings, or other sensitive material unless it is necessary for your request.
Our email service provider processes support messages to transmit and store email on our behalf. Support messages may be processed in locations where that provider operates. Where applicable law requires a transfer safeguard, we use the legally required mechanism or obtain consent where appropriate.
8 Purposes and Legal Bases
On-device processing occurs to perform the function you request. Permission-dependent processing is based on your choice and the permission you grant through iOS. You may withdraw that permission in iOS Settings, which stops future access within the withdrawn scope.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis for support communications, we rely on performance of a contract or steps requested by you, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interests in answering requests, securing the support channel, and establishing or defending legal claims, provided those interests do not override your rights. We rely on consent where applicable law requires it.
9 Storage Retention and Deletion
The analysis copy of a selected photograph is deleted immediately after the requested on-device analysis finishes. Temporary processing data is released when processing ends or the app session closes. Yard Wise Lens does not retain a server copy because the app does not transmit the photograph or analysis to us.
Reports and app settings stored locally remain until you delete the relevant item, use an available clear-data control, delete the app, or erase the applicable device storage. Copies saved in Files, Photos, device backups, email, a print service, or another destination remain subject to the controls and retention rules of that destination. Deleting Yard Wise Lens does not remove those external copies.
We retain support messages for up to 24 months after a request is resolved. We may keep limited records longer where a specific law requires it or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim. Such records are restricted to that purpose and deleted when the applicable period ends.
10 Security
Yard Wise Lens uses the iOS app sandbox and available device data-protection features for information stored locally. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for support communications, including access controls and the transport protections provided by our email service. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Protect access to your device and review a report before exporting or sharing it. If a personal-data incident involving information we hold occurs, we will take appropriate containment and remedial measures and provide notifications required by applicable law.
11 Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You control camera, Photos, location, microphone, and notification permissions through iOS Settings. You can delete locally stored reports and app data through available in-app or iOS controls. Data that remains solely on your device must be accessed, exported, corrected, or deleted there because we do not hold it.
To request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of support information we hold, contact zhiziyunketang@163.com. Because there is no Yard Wise Lens account, identify the email address used for the support request and provide enough detail for us to locate it. We may take proportionate steps to verify the request and will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to certain processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, appeal a decision, or complain to a data-protection authority. We do not discriminate against you for exercising rights provided by applicable law.
12 Children
Yard Wise Lens is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not use age verification or knowingly collect information from children through the app. If we learn that a child sent personal information to us through support communications contrary to applicable law, we will take steps to delete or otherwise lawfully handle it. 13 International and Regional Information
Yard Wise Lens may be offered in the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom, and Southeast Asia. On-device photographs and analysis are not transferred to us. A support message you send may be processed outside your country as described in section 7, subject to rights and safeguards required by applicable law.
EEA and United Kingdom. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you may exercise the rights in section 11 and complain to your local supervisory authority. Our processing outside your device is limited primarily to support communications. Contact us directly using the details in section 15.
United States. We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising. We do not collect sensitive personal information through the app. You may submit an applicable state-law request or appeal by contacting us. We will recognize an authorized agent where required after appropriate verification.
Southeast Asia. Where national law provides rights of access, correction, withdrawal, deletion, objection, or complaint, you may exercise them using the contact details below. We apply retention limits and legally required safeguards to support information transferred across borders.
14 Independent Services
Apple controls the App Store, iOS permissions, device backups, Photos, Files, printing, and other Apple services under Apple's own privacy terms. A recipient or third-party destination you deliberately select controls its copy of a report. This Policy does not govern those independent services.
15 Changes and Contact
We may update this Policy by publishing a revised version with a new Last Updated date. If we make a material change to how we handle personal information, we will provide notice and obtain consent where required before the change takes effect.
